How to Measure Your Ring Size Using the Paper/String Method
Materials Needed:
- A thin strip of paper or a piece of string
- A pen or pencil
- A ruler
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Wrap the Paper/String:
- Wrap the paper strip or string around the base of your finger. Ensure it's snug but not too tight.

Mark the Overlap:
- Using the pen or pencil, mark the point where the paper or string overlaps, forming a complete circle around your finger.

Measure the Length:
- Lay the paper or string flat and measure the length from the starting point to the marked point using a ruler. Record this measurement in millimeters (mm).

Find Your Size:
- Compare your measurement to a ring size chart to determine your ring size.
Tips:
- Measure at the end of the day when your fingers are likely to be their largest.
- Measure your finger multiple times to ensure accuracy.
Measure an exisiting ring
- Select a exisiting ring that fits the desired finger
- Using a ruler, measure the inside diameter of the ring from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge.
- Use the below chart to determine your size

As a growing company, we strive to meet all your jewellery needs, but we can't always hold all stock on hand. Some items may need to be pre-ordered and will arrive to us within 2 weeks. This is noted in the product descriptions.

RETURNS
If you are not 100% happy with your jewellery, you are welcome to contact us within 14 days of delivery to request a store credit or exchange. Please email us at Hello@lucidandluna.co.nz and we will guide you through the process.
After we have provided you with the return address, please return your items within seven (7) working days. Items returned after seven days will not be eligible for an exchange or store credit.
Return/exchange broken or defective item(s): You must attach a picture that clearly shows the broken/defective items and describe the issue(s) with your item. Every piece of Jewellery is carefully inspected and packaged appropriately before sending out, we reserve the right to deny your damage claim if upon the return assessment the jewellery proves to have been tampered with.
You will be responsible for the shipping fee on sending the item(s) back to us. However, if you decide to proceed with an exchange, we will cover the shipping costs to send the new item(s) back out to you.
Once your package has arrived back to us it may take a few days for us to process your request.
Note: To be eligible for a credit or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. If you return a broken or defective item, only a partial refund can be made. Please also note that Lucid and Luna gift cards are non-refundable.
WARRANTY
All items come with a 60 day warranty unless specified on the product page. During this period you can either return your item(s) for a store credit, get a replacement, or make an exchange.
Please note: We use genuine gemstones in our jewellery, and love the organic variations in each stone. We do not consider naturally occurring inclusions and “imperfections” to be flaws, and they do not qualify for a replacement or exchange during the extended warranty period.
